YOUNG
Multidisciplinary researcher, educator, activist-scholar, and registered social worker working at the intersections of Indigenous resurgence, social work, digital worlds, identity, and community.
Shane has ancestral ties to both Mi’kmaq and Newfoundland settler communities. Originally from Newfoundland’s southwestern coast, he has called Tkaronto home since 2006.
Scholarship rooted in relationality, resurgence, and the possibilities of community—online and on the land.
